Reminder : Join Us to Kick Off “Youth4Future” – Empowering Young Trade Union Voices!

Brussels, 27 May 2025

  • To: Members of the Youth Committee

Dear Members of the Youth Committee, Colleague,

This is a kind reminder regarding the new project Youth4Future, a joint initiative between ETUC Youth Team & ITCILO ACTRAV to empower young trade unionists and strengthen youth-inclusive social dialogue across Europe.

We kindly invite you to register for the upcoming project events, including next week’s kick-off webinar and the in-person design sprint in July.

Most importantly, please take a moment to complete the survey below — even if you are unable to attend the events. This will greatly help us identify and assess the specific needs of the project.

We invite you to join us at the in-person workshop (Design Sprint in-person in Turin).

Youth4Future is a new initiative aimed at empowering young trade unionists to take an active role in shaping fair and future-ready labour policies. The project seeks to strengthen the capacity of  workers' representatives, shop stewards, youth officers, and ETUC Youth Committee members to engage in social dialogue and contribute to national and European discussions on key topics such as working time reduction, just transition, digitalization, and quality youth wages.

Through a dynamic blend of online and offline activities, Youth4Future will offer participants valuable opportunities to exchange experiences, learn from experts, and build cross-country solidarity and network.
Online components include a kickoff webinar and self-paced learning courses hosted on the ITCILO virtual campus. Offline, participants will take part in an opening workshop in Italy, targeted training sessions, and insightful study visits in Spain, Finland, and Austria.

To ensure impact at all levels, the project also supports three national dissemination events led by participating organizations, helping to bring European-level insights back to national contexts.

With this email we would like to officially invite you to the first project phase that will unfold in three key steps, and we invite you to be part of this dynamic journey:
