Dear Sir, Madam,
The European social partners, ETUC, BusinessEurope, CEEP and UEAPME would like to invite you to participate in the conference:
“The Role of the ESF in Capacity Building of Social Partners”
The conference will take place on the 9th March 2018 in Brussels, at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Brussels, Rue du Fossé aux Loups 47, 1000 Bruxelles.
The conference will bring together social partner experts in the field of the ESF, as well as representatives from managing authorities and European policy makers. This conference follows two decentralised seminars which took place during 2017 in Prague and Rome.
A better use of the European Social Fund is essential to support the existence of well-structured bipartite social dialogue at all appropriate levels in the EU Member States, especially at local and regional levels. It can also play an important role to achieve better implementation of social dialogue outcomes. This conference comes at a critical moment in the discussions on the post-2020 Multi-annual Financial Framework.
During the seminar the European social partner organisations will present a draft report as well as recommendations on the future use of the ESF for capacity building of social partners at national level.
The working languages will be English, German, French, Italian, Polish and Spanish.
The ETUC is in charge of the organisation of this event on behalf of all European social partners. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered. Please read carefully the instructions on the attached reimbursement form for more details concerning travel and accommodation.
