Dear Youth Committee members,
This is a kind reminder about the Seminar on Tax Justice, taking place on 26 November 2025 in Strasbourg, organised in cooperation with FO France.
As debates on taxing the (super-)rich gain momentum across Europe, this issue is becoming one of the key struggles of today’s working class. Ensuring fair taxation is not only an economic matter—it is central to defending equality, solidarity, and public services.
It is therefore vital that young trade unionists are informed and actively engaged in this debate. The Youth Committee has an important role to play in shaping and promoting the ETUC’s campaign on Tax Justice, and your participation in the seminar will help strengthen that contribution.
The programme will include:
-
An informative session and discussion on taxing the super-rich;
-
A presentation of the ETUC campaign on Tax Justice;
-
An interactive exercise exploring ways to mobilise around tax justice at the workplace.
The working languages will be English and French.
ETUC will cover accommodation (24–27 November) and travel costs, according to the reimbursement rules attached to the original invitation.
If you have not yet registered, please do so as soon as possible, but no later than 31 October.
Selected participants will be notified shortly thereafter.
kind regards,
Tea Jarc
Confederal Secretary
