The screening of A Chained Revolution - An ETUC Documentary film on CSDD
Where: Cinema Star, 27 Rue du Jeu-des-Enfants, 67000 Strasbourg, France
When : Monday, 22 April 2024 - 20.00h
The Screening will be followed by a social event nearby the cinema.
About the film:
This film is a joint effort by the European Trade Union Confederation (ETUC), Syndex, and the Centre Video de Bruxelles (CVB), and it's all about bringing attention to the importance of Democracy at Work & corporate accountability. The documentary focuses on the challenges faced by workers who are part of long subcontracting chains. Their stories visualize the tough reality that workers are dealing with every day and the cruelty of current business models, which are nothing else than a form of modern slavery. This documentary isn't just about problems, though. It's also about solutions. We highlight how laws like the CSDD Directive, will make the difference for workers. Join us for the projection of this film, your mobilisation ahead of the vote will make a difference too.
With kind regards,
Isabelle Schömann
Deputy General Secretary
